COME JOIN THE FUN
ON THE 3rd ANNUAL
OHIO BUCKEYE CHAPTER GPAA TRIP TO
THERMAL CITY GOLD CAMP IN
UNION MILLS, NORTH CAROLINA
APRIL 16 - 18, 2010
This will be a 'drive yourself' trip. Camping is available at the Thermal City Gold Camp. Four cabins are also available there on a first-come, first serve basis. Call Thermal City at 828-286-3016 to reserve a cabin.
There are 4 motels close by in Marion, NC.
Days Inn, Marion: 828-659-2567
Super 8 Motel, Marion: 828-659-7940
Comfort Inn, Marion: 828-652-4888
Hampton Inn, Marion: 828-652-5100
The Common Dig ($125) includes the use of two trommels and material for all day Saturday and Sunday, and all day panning. For those not participating in the Common Dig, they can hunt for rough gemstones in the Gem Mine flume or pan for gold at their own expense. The Gold Camp will have a dinner ($5) Saturday evening.
There is a $50.00 deposit due with a completed registration form.
The balance is due by February 13, 2010.
The Common Dig is open to the first 20 prospectors.
