" For the last seven years, I spend the first week of May in Santee, SC. fishing Lake Marion. The biggest cat any of our party has ever caught is a 65lb Flathead. My personal biggest is a 45lb Bluecat in this picture".
Northern Pike talk by Goldhoss of Ashland, Ohio.
"A few years back, I was fishing with my buddy Bill at Muddy Fork River in Ashland County. We fished for 3 hours and nothing was biting so we headed back to the truck. We looked over to a deadfall in the river as a blackbird came down to take a drink. The last thing that probably went through his mind was "yikes". A big ol' pike jumped and swallowed him in one bite. Never seen anything like it. I have never landed a pike but have had a couple on the line while bass and sucker fishing. Man, talk about an adrenaline rush... right up to the time when the line snapped."
